The latest courses were constructed to help students complete their aesthetician training and get started with new careers, while minimally impacting their current jobs or family responsibilities. They allow students to complete the majority of their training online, from anywhere with an internet connection, before attending hands-on training at the nearest Dermysk Academy.
While these new classes do not provide a fully online training option, they allow students to complete nearly 90% of the training online, with only one week of practical instruction. However, while the online training has no time constraints or deadlines, the one week of practical instruction is an intensive course, which requires daily attendance at the nearest Academy.
To ensure the training is as effective as possible, the Dermysk Academy offers practical sessions at its medspa clinics. This gives each student an inside look at the medspa industry during their training, allows them to build connections with certified aestheticians, and offers them real-world experience.
During the practical training, students will work with real clients to gain experience with each aesthetic tool and procedure, in a realistic working environment. This helps the Dermysk Academy to ensure that every student is confident, experienced, and ready to perform these techniques on clients after they graduate.
Graduates from the basic training will be able to enter the workforce immediately, with full certification for up to a dozen popular medspa techniques. Alternately, this training also provides all the necessary skills and certifications to open a home medspa, including training in proven industry marketing and sales techniques.
Students may also gain a more comprehensive education by enrolling in the Advanced course, after graduating from the basic training. This program provides training in complex, high-demand techniques, such as body sculpting and stem cell treatments.
